Feature Update: Expanded Communication Capabilities Between VIP Users and Buyers
Dear GarantMarket users,
We are announcing a change to how VIP-status interaction works with other visitors on the platform.
Previous system. VIP-status users could initiate correspondence with any visitor on the site; however, the recipient of the message, if they did not hold VIP status themselves, was unable to reply. This limited feedback and made it harder to clarify details regarding a transaction.
Current system. VIP users can, as before, be the first to reach out to any site visitor. However, visitors without VIP status now have the ability to reply to such messages.
What this means. This change makes trading and discussing deal terms more accessible for all platform participants: buyers can quickly clarify details about an item, ask questions about its characteristics and delivery terms, while VIP-status sellers can receive direct feedback without additional restrictions. This speeds up the deal negotiation process and improves overall usability of the platform.
The GarantMarket team continues to work on improving the service and takes user feedback into account.
